Featured stay: Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea. A complete guide to every real hotel and filming location used across all four seasons of HBO's The White Lotus, with current rates and booking links. Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea is the first property to compare for this trip.
The White Lotus is filmed at four very real luxury hotels, one per season, plus a handful of supporting properties used for specific scenes. Every season has been shot at a Four Seasons resort except Season 4, which moves to the Chateau de La Messardiere in Saint-Tropez. This guide covers every confirmed filming location, what each one costs to book in 2026, and where to stay if you want the closest experience to each season.
Want the deep dives? See my full White Lotus hotels guide, the Four Seasons Koh Samui review for Season 3, and my "is The White Lotus a real hotel?" explainer.

Rates at White Lotus hotels rise 20 to 40 percent in the months after each season airs. Season 4 begins filming in April 2026 and is expected to premiere in late 2026, so the window to book Saint-Tropez at pre-spike rates is closing fast. The Four Seasons Maui, San Domenico Palace and Four Seasons Koh Samui all have established multi-month booking lead times for peak season. I cover the exact scheduling in our full White Lotus guide.
The White Lotus Season 1 was filmed at the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea in Hawaii. The entire cast and crew lived on site during production in late 2020 because of COVID restrictions. Rooms start from approximately $1,000 per night for a garden view.
The White Lotus Season 2 was filmed at the San Domenico Palace in Taormina, Sicily. The hotel is a 14th century former Dominican monastery operated by Four Seasons since 2021. Rooms start from around $800 per night, with Mount Etna view suites significantly higher.
The White Lotus Season 3 was primarily filmed at the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui in Thailand. The lobby and entrance scenes were shot at the Anantara Bophut Koh Samui Resort, spa scenes at Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas, and the dining scenes at Rosewood Phuket's Ta Khai restaurant.
The White Lotus Season 4 is being filmed at the Chateau de La Messardiere in Saint-Tropez, France, part of the Airelles Collection. Filming runs from late April through October 2026, with the season expected to premiere in late 2026. Suites start from approximately USD$3,240 per night.
Yes, every primary filming location is a real, bookable hotel. The Four Seasons Maui, San Domenico Palace, Four Seasons Koh Samui and Chateau de La Messardiere are all available through Booking.com. Supporting hotels used for specific scenes, such as the Anantara Bophut Koh Samui, are also bookable and significantly more affordable.
The fictional White Lotus resort is not a single real hotel. Each season is filmed at a different real luxury property and dressed for production. I cover the full breakdown in our explainer at /travel-guides/is-the-white-lotus-a-real-hotel.
