The suite map: screen name to bookable room
The suite names used on screen are inventions. You cannot ask for the Pineapple Suite at booking, because no such category exists in the reservation system. Production designer Laura Fox set out how the rooms were dressed and used in an interview with Variety, and the real categories, with their sizes, are listed on the Four Seasons accommodations page.
One honest caveat before the table: two outlets reporting that same Laura Fox interview disagree about which of the Palm and the Pineapple was Shane and Rachel's original room and which was the upgrade, so treat that one pairing as unsettled rather than established. The suites have also been redecorated in neutral tones since filming, as Wallpaper notes, so the tropical theming you remember from screen is no longer in the rooms.

What it actually costs, from the cheapest room up
The entry point is a Garden View room with two queen beds at 603 sq ft, quoted at $825 a night on Priceline in September 2026 in reporting by The Points Guy. A separate live check during the same period put the lowest standard room at $892, which is a fair illustration of how much this resort moves between one search and the next. Nothing here is a locked price, so check live rates before you build a budget around it.
Work the arithmetic rather than looking for a package figure. Seven nights in an entry level room at those two rates comes out at roughly $5,800 to $8,400 before tax and the resort fee. That is the number worth carrying into the decision, because it is the one that decides whether Wailea happens at all.
The resort fee changes on 1 July 2026
This is the most time sensitive fact on the page. There is no resort fee on stays through 30 June 2026, and a mandatory resort fee of $55 a night applies from 1 July 2026, per The Points Guy. That is a single source figure rather than something confirmed across several outlets, so confirm it at the point of booking.
On a seven night stay after that date it adds $385 to the bill, which matters far more at the $825 end of the rate card than at the suite end.
The cheapest months to go
Broad Maui seasonality puts the cheaper windows from mid September to November, excluding Thanksgiving, and from late March to early June, excluding Easter. The expensive ends of the calendar are Christmas to New Year and July.
One price tracker cited by The Points Guy puts December lowest at an average of about $1,101 and March highest at about $1,567, which reads counterintuitively. The likely explanation is that a December average sweeps in the very quiet pre holiday weeks alongside the festive peak, rather than December being genuinely cheap. Treat the monthly averages as a hint and the live calendar as the answer.
What is actually there, and what you will recognise
The single most recognisable location is the adults only Serenity Pool with its swim up bar, which Marie Claire describes as barely changed since filming. If one image sits in your head from Season 1, it is probably that water line.
DUO, the resort's steak and seafood restaurant, and the Lobby Lounge both appear on screen, and the lounge runs a nightly sunset ceremony from 5:30 to 7:30pm. Wailea Beach, in front of the resort, is where Quinn's storyline was shot, and the outrigger canoe experience seen in that thread is bookable by guests, per the Sky location guide.
Two corrections for the completists. The spa is real and central to the Belinda and Tanya story, but there is no equivalent of the craniosacral scene on the treatment menu. Armond's office was not an office at all: production converted a small ballroom for it, as Marie Claire reports. Ferraro's Bar e Ristorante, the beachfront Italian, is a genuine property highlight worth a table, though I have not been able to verify that it appeared on screen and will not claim that it did.
The free tour nobody mentions, and the pop up that has ended
These are the two facts that separate a current page from a stale one, and most pages get both wrong.
The Behind the Scenes Tour is free, and bookable today
Four Seasons launched a White Lotus Behind the Scenes Tour on 21 August 2025. It runs one hour, costs nothing, is open to resort guests, and is booked through the concierge, per the resort's own announcement. It is led by Tracy Bennett, the former Maui County Film Commissioner, which is a rather better guide than a hotel host reading a script.
It also includes real props from the production: Tanya's urn, Armond's pink linen suit with the White Lotus lapel pin, and Olivia's mushroom bucket hat. For anyone booking this resort because of the show, it is the single best reason to be a guest rather than a day visitor, and almost no competing article mentions that it exists.
The themed pool pop up ran in 2025 and has ended
The White Lotus pool pop up, with its themed bar, the $1,350 a day cabana, the Lotus Release Ritual and the Full Moon Party, ran from 14 March to 16 May 2025, as covered by Wallpaper. It has ended. It is not running now.
Say that plainly, because a good number of pages still list it as a current reason to book. If the themed programming was the draw, it is no longer on the property, and the free tour has replaced it as the reason a fan books here.
The resort was closed to the public throughout filming
The 2020 shoot happened with the resort closed to the public, cast and crew effectively quarantined on site for about three months, as SFGate sets out. Nothing you watched reflects normal operations: no other guests, no queue at the pool bar, no families at breakfast.
That matters if you are booking for the atmosphere. The building, the beach and the pool are all as they appear. The emptiness is not available at any price.
About the 386 percent figure
You will see it stated everywhere that availability checks at this resort rose 386 percent after Season 1. It is a widely repeated claim, and the primary source behind it, with a date and a method, cannot be found. It is carried on the White Lotus hotels guide attributed to the secondary coverage that reported it, and it is not treated as a verified statistic here either.
Cheaper along the same stretch of Wailea
Wailea is a short strip of large resorts, so the alternatives are neighbours rather than compromises on location. Each of these three costs a fraction of the Four Seasons and each gives something up, so the tradeoff is stated rather than glossed.
